What does Lost and Found mean?

The name Lost and Found gives insight into the store in two ways. First, the Lost and Found incorporations intend to reestablish what has been lost from the past - high quality, personal customer care. From the moment a person steps into the establishment until the moment that person leaves, the customer will feel personally valued, and will receive excellent care. The idea of a soda fountain as part of a pharmacy is also a relic from the past which has been virtually lost. Through the re-disvovering of this novel type of pharmacy visitors will be drawn into a friendly atmosphere and made to feel like part of a family.

Second, the term Lost and Found refers to the spiritual state of the potential visitors. Some who enter may be lost. Others may be found. It is the goal of Lost and Found, Inc. to extend the Love and Grace of God, through a commitment to Christianity, in the hopes that each of its patrons will be found over time.

Our Offerings

With an aging population, the need for medical services, including pharmaceutical services has increased. In addition, the demand for individualized care is intensifying as it becomes more difficult for people to navigate through the complexities of today's healthcare system. Lost and Found Pharmacy can improve fulfillment of customers' needs by combining appropriately tailored pharmacy services along with attention to other potential needs for the health of the whole person.

Pharmaceutical products and services include, but are not limited to: prescription medications, funding to assist uninsured or Medicare 'gap' patients, individualized prescription counseling, and informational clinics about various disease states.

Finances and Timeline

As a nonprofit organization, the pharmacy will be able to obtain medications at a lower cost. It is then expected that the medications will be sold at cost as well. Insurances will be accepted whenever possible. According to guidelines for nonprofit entities, Lost and Found Pharmacy will be allowed to charge a professional fee in order to cover the costs incurred by the pharmacy. In addition to the professional fee to cover costs, Lost and Found Pharmacy intends to establish a fund with any incidental profits and other donations for assistance to Medicare 'gap' patients and eventually to uninsured patients.

In order to achieve our goals, we have obtained attorney and accountant services, completed the process of incorporation, established banking services, and obtained nonprofit tax status. Currently, we are seeking the funds needed to open our doors
