So last week, when we mentioned our need for sufficient funds to replace our printer, you guys came through. It was amazing how quickly everyone helped out. We have already ordered the new printer and it arrived today. The generosity of everyone is so great that it reminds me of a conversation I had with my wife the other day.
I asked Shannon, “How do you spell invulnerable?”
Shannon: “I-N-V-U..”
Me: “I know. I am pretty awesome, but not nearly as awesome as the people that willingly read my bad jokes every week!”

I do want to take a moment and remind those who our potentially interested that we are having our first computer user group meet on Saturday, May 14th @ 1PM. It will be a weekly group, so please come and join us whether you want to fix something, learn something, or share something.
Let’s look at some of the other things we have coming up in the not too distant future:
- Friday, May 6th, 6:30ish – 9PM, Board Game Night ~ This has long been a tradition to come in on a Friday and have fun playing games.
- Saturday, May 7th, 7PM – 8:30 PM, Bereans Group ~ This group, which is open to the public, is discussing suffering.
- Tuesday, May 10th, 7 PM – 8:30 PM, Bible Study ~ We are continuing our study on the Gospel of John, please come and join us as we continue chapter three.
- Saturday, May 14th, 1PM – 3PM, Computer User Group ~ We are looking forward to our first ever meeting. We are trying to gather a group of enthusiasts that enjoy various platforms and wouldn’t mind helping others with questions.
- Wednesday, May 18th, 5PM – 7PM, We are watching Jungle Cruise, starring Dwayne Johnson (The Rock) and Emily Blunt.
- Monday, May 30th, 11AM – 5PM, Memorial Day Cookout ~ We are getting ready for our first cookout of the Summer season. Our menu for the day will be posted soon!
Now for the part everyone always asks about, the food! Our current sandwich is a grilled chicken wrap, our current soup is our extremely popular white chicken chili, and our current specialty ice creams are Peanut Butter Cookies n’ Cream and Peach. We will be bringing back our very popular Reuben sandwich soon!
